POLINI Racing Vespa T5 152 Cylinder Kit (Inc Cylinder Head)
The 152cc Polini cast iron cylinder is a reliable component for everyday usage. It can be utilized with the original cylinder head and only requires the replacement of the main nozzle with a size 125 for optimal performance. This modification results in a powerful and enjoyable driving experience, producing 13.7hp at 6500 rpm (16.5NM at 4850 rpm) on a completely original engine with the original exhaust. This allows for a maximum speed of approximately 110km/h with a 22 tooth clutch pinion (original 20 tooth). The average consumption in this configuration is 4.5 liters per 100km, with full throttle capability and minimal vibration, making it a strong performer in the mid-range.
Polini do not offer the rider a Cylinder head to pair with the Polini 152 kit. But luckily SIP have produced a cylinder head capable of producing the performance required when using the Polini Cylinder kit.
