BGM PRO SPORT Front Shock Absorber
BGM Pro has two high-quality shock absorber series in its product range, the Sport and Competition Line. We believe at Ron Daley's that both the workmanship is perfect and the quality of the item is made to the highest standard. The shock absorbers are very light in spite of their high load capacity, as they are made of high-strength aluminium CNC and unlike a lot of other Shock Absorbers, the outstanding surface protection is long lasting! The front shocks are 15mm shorter than standard shock absorbers and thus lower the front of the vehicle. This is beneficial to driving stability, top speed and last but not least to the appearance. Additionally the swingarm angle is reduced, which improves the response of the damper. The resulting greater caster stabilizes handling at higher speeds.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Unique is the height adjustment for the Vespa PX models, which is only reserved for the SPORT series. This allows the vehicle to be adjusted in height on both axles. The front can be lowered or the rear raised without having to change the pre-load, which is so important for the negative suspension travel. Typically for two-wheelers, just a few millimetres are sufficient to have a significant effect on the driving behaviour. Technically this is made possible by threads at the shock absorber ends. Please note the markings for the maximum adjustment range.
